Cold-shrinkable Components
Description
POLYSEAL EPDM cold shrink components involve Tubing, Breakout and Endcap. These components are factory expanded on a removable plastic core. For the application purpose, the component is positioned at an appropriate place, plastic core is removed by pulling a string. This makes the component self-shrink on the substrate and provide waterproof seal.

Mastics
Description
POLYSEAL self-amalgamating mastic is made from non-toxic rubber composite. It is highly conformable, non-vulcanizing, non-drying and self-fusing. It is effectively used for sealing medium voltage cable terminations and joints to provide waterproofing, void-filling and stress relief. It is available in Red, Black & Yellow colours.

- For jointing and repairing solid dielectric power cables

Inhibition Paste
Description
POLYSEALTM INH-731 Inhibition Compound is specially developed to prevent galvanic corrosion and to decrease contact resistance in Aluminium-to-Aluminium and Aluminium-to-Copper connections.
NH-731 is supplied in ready-to-use paste form. It prevents water and other contaminants from influencing the connection and prevents formation of surface oxides. Its special galvanic corrosion inhibiting additives help to break down existing oxides on the conducting surfaces when those surfaces are brought together under by crimping pressure. It provides electrical bridges which enhances integrity of the connection. INH-731 is workable over a vide temperature range.
Application
Clean the surface of connector and conductor. Make if free from dust, oxide, moisture and other impurities. Evenly apply INH-731 on entire contact surface. It should never be thinned or other additives be added to it.

Mechanical Connectors
Description
POLYSEAL aluminium mechanical connectors are shear bolt type that are prepared from a special grade of aluminium alloy. These connectors are designed with high factor of safety to ensure trouble free performance that well exceeds requirements of IEC-61238-1.
A block in form of a 5 mm thick wall is provided at the center of the ferrule to prevent movement of moisture/contamination and to ensure equal insertion from both the conductors. The connectors are filled with antioxidant inhibition paste.
